What makes a good horse photo

Side-on or three-quarter, the whole horse in view, in good daylight: that is the photo that gives us the most to work with. Ears forward is a bonus. A phone photo taken at the fence is usually all we need. If it will not work, we will ask you for another one, or refund you.

Watercolor horses, true to the horse you know

A blaze, a star, white socks, the way the mane falls: tell us the markings that matter and we keep them. The coat is built up in warm glazes and the rest dissolves into bare white paper, so the horse is the whole story.
